The White Bird Marked with Black

In a little, traditional Hutsul village in Northern Bukovina, near Romania borders, lives a Zvonars family. The Zvonars are a poor family of four brothers-musicians and their father, who eke out a living by performing in the local celebrations. Life takes them on separate paths: Petro joined the Red Army, Orest joined the Ukrainian Insurgent Army and younger two stayed home. However their paths are always intertwined in love and war.
