Synopsis

Short description of the plot without spoilers

Mishko and Lev are fellow villagers serving on the minesweeper “Cherkasy”, a ship of the Ukrainian Navy. When the invasion of Crimea by the infamous “little green men” begins and President Yanukovych flees the country, the “Cherkasy” and other ships of the Ukrainian fleet are blocked on the lake. The crew of the "Cherkasy" decide to resist.

Фільм не про місто, а про один з останніх кораблів, який у Чорному морі протистояв провокаціям росіян під час початку окупації Криму. Екіпаж “Черкас” продемонстрував свою мужність, вишкіл і непохитну позицію. Фільм знято на основі реальних подій, але з певними вигадками. Однак чудово демонструє психологію й буття моряків до і після. “Черкаси” будуть чинити опір – слоган фільму. А з ними уся Україна.
